Driveway Crossover Works - Victoria
Scope of Project As part of a new building development a new driveway crossover was to be installed on a council road as soon as possible.
Council was holding up the works as they required the Contractor to provide a TMP, gain Council approval and have traffic management on site to minimise disruptions and ensure pedestrian safety.
Planning SuperSealing developed a Traffic Management Plan and completed the required Council Application forms in one day. SuperSealing then contacted a Council contact to get the quickest response possible.
Council approved the works the next day and works were able to be scheduled the following day.
Allocation of Resources
A crew of 2 controllers with a fully setup vehicle set up prior to the planned start of works and operated a Stop/Slow site around the workers for the day
Controllers filled out a JSA form for the days work
Pedestrian signage was setup and left as after care at the end of the works
Outcome SuperSealing was able to get the urgent works to proceed within 2 days. The speed in designing the accurate TMP and the flexibility in providing the crew at short notice enabled the project to proceed without further delay.
The Council was very happy with the level of safety at the site and the Client was relieved that their other building works could continue.
